This policy explains how Retail Stock Manager handles information when you use our website or Android app.
Information we handle
- Account information, such as your name, email address, phone number and profile photo.
- Business records you choose to enter, including business contact details, products, stock, customers, suppliers, purchases, sales, expenses, payments, invoices, notes and uploaded images or receipts.
- Subscription information from Google Play, including product, plan, purchase-token and entitlement status. We do not receive your full card or bank details.
- Basic technical and security information needed to operate, protect and troubleshoot the service.
How we use information
- To create and secure your account, provide stock and sales features, produce business records and support your subscription.
- To prevent fraud, diagnose problems, respond to support requests and meet legal obligations.
- We do not sell personal information or use your business records for third-party advertising.
Storage and sharing
- Information is stored with cloud service providers used to run Retail Stock Manager. Google Play processes Android purchases under Google's own privacy terms.
- We share information only with service providers that operate the app, when you direct us to, or when required by law. Access is limited to what is needed for those purposes.
Website measurement and advertising
- Google Analytics measures website visits and Meta Pixel measures advertising results only after you choose the relevant optional category. Both are off by default in every region. Rejecting optional tracking does not prevent sign-in or use of shop features.
- Our own measurement tags are limited to selected public pages. We do not send names, email addresses, phone numbers, business records, URL queries or fragments with their events. The providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, device details and cookie identifiers under their privacy terms.
- Use Privacy settings on the website to accept, reject or change optional categories. Choices are stored on this browser for up to 180 days. Withdrawing permission removes known measurement cookies and reloads the page to stop loaded tags. The packaged Android app does not load these tags.
- Fonts are served with RSM rather than requested from Google Fonts. No session replay is enabled by RSM; hosting providers may process technical service and diagnostic information.
Security and retention
- We use access controls, encrypted connections and business-level separation to protect records. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
- We keep information while your account is active and as needed to provide the service. After a valid deletion request, we delete or de-identify eligible data, except records we must retain for legal, security or dispute-resolution reasons.
Your choices
- You can review or correct profile and business information inside the app.
- You can request account deletion from Your profile in the app or follow the public account-deletion instructions. Requests are normally completed within 30 days.
- You may contact us to ask about access, correction or deletion of your information.
- Optional setup tips, product news and offers require separate email permission. Existing accounts are not opted in automatically. Change your choice in Your profile → Email preferences, use an unsubscribe link in an optional email, or contact us. Essential security, account and billing messages continue.
- We record the version, date and source of email permission and withdrawals. Unsubscribe links use random capabilities; only their hashes are stored. These preference records follow your account and are removed with it, subject to any applicable legal retention requirement.
Children
Retail Stock Manager is a business tool intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18. New accounts require an adult eligibility declaration; business owners must confirm that invited staff are adults. This is a self-declaration, not an identity check. Do not create an account if you are under 18. Contact us if a child's information has been submitted so we can assess and address it.
